Cement work cont.

This is the end of the cement work. The day we got our garage and basement floor the girls were able to put their hand prints in the cement in the garage. Ok, just so you know, we can only put five pictures per posting...that is why it took a few to get up to date. Also Alyssa wanted you to know that the last post with the words every which way was done by me. (Julie)

On August 16th we got walls

These are the forms for our foundation. It took two days to put
them up. It was an amazing thing to watch. Then it took six
cement trucks to fill the forms!! The girls really enjoyed watching
them pour the cement. Jynelle took this last picture looking down
the form.

Our first post

On August 6th, 2006 we, finally, started the building process for our home. We will be posting pictures as we go along, so you can come along with us on our new adventure. Mom and I (Alyssa) are sitting here working on picking out the pictures that we want to post. The whole family has been taking hundreds, okay maybe that is an exageration, of pictures. Mom is trying to learn how to get the pictures off of the camera, and work this blog. We have been talking about creating this for a couple of weeks how, and they have to wait until I get home to start. Hopefully, by the time our house is finished she will be a pro at this. The next person posting will be mom. Here are our pictures:
