Painting started

These pictures were taken on Dec. 15th. the first one Jordyn took, it shows how the top row of bricks stick out from the wall. The second picture shows the wall with the brick finished. Julie and the girls continue to caulk the seams on the outside of the house. The last two pictures show the painting started. It is the front of the garage area.

Our brick was started the beginning of Dec. this first picture is under a blue tarp that they were using for protection from rain and wind. Also during this time Julie and the girls are caulking every seam between wood and siding. I do not like going up on the ladder to the peak of the roof but I am managing!! The brickers are adding extra touches to the house..at the top is "marching soldiers" and the corners have a column feel...we love it!! The last picture is the colors we have picked for the outside of the house.

Same day more siding goes up

Also on November 24th, the crew was putting siding on the back of the house. Our back garage door is on...and Blaine's new truck that they drove down!!

November 24th..friends come to help

On November 24th, Blaine and Doug came down to help get the sewer line finished. We had had a lot of rain and part of the trench that Terry had dug before had caved in. So they had to rent a bigger boy toy and dig the rest of the way. Kevin and his son also were there helping. It took almost the entire day but they were successful!! The last picture is the pipes connected. On monday it passed inspection so now we are able to fill in the trench!!
